Painted with MTN94 fluorescent spray paint using a font designed by the artist whereby each alphabetical letter has been replaced by a global currency symbol.  Here the Vietnamese Dong, Euro, Bitcoin and Turkish Lira signs are used respectively to spell LIES.  The lettering is outlined in liquid chrome which glistens in the light.

The image is painted on a counterfeit £5 note (or Lady Godiva in Cockney Rhyming Slang. Rhymes with fiver).  If there's such a thing as a genuine counterfeit this would be it, the note was produced to a very convincing standard clearly with an intention of making it's way illegally into circulation.  It's of the old paper type depicting the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Each artwork from the collection is beautifully presented on a 20 x 15cm mount in cellophane wrapping.  Please note there is minor denting to the mount (from which the artwork can be detached without damage) from where the artwork was hung by bulldog clips in Germany's "Das Kapital" exhibition which is reflected in the reduced price.

Each artwork is accompanied with an embossed Certificate of Authenticity and a Johnman sticker.
