Rise of the Stag (Munster Rugby / Peter O'Mahony) - Fine Art Giclée Print

"Rise of the Stag" was a painting created with spray paint by Johnman's where the tools of graffiti are used to create iconic images in a vibrant and modern pop-art style.

Johnman's story behind the piece: "I was asked at a party some years ago if I'd do a commission of a Munster line out. I always like to hold a little bit back for the big reveal with commissions where I can and knowing Munster's logo is a stag I was suddenly excited that I could capture all the motion, strength and energy of a line out by having the stag come to life, roaring in the background with the upward flow and motion of the players.
Anyway; said commissioner never got back to me. For some six years it remained just an idea, stuck in my head, itching to get out. Well; what better time to bring it to life than for Art Source Cork. And who better to crest the line out than Cork born, Munster and Ireland legend Peter O'Mahony on a weekend that will see him earn his 100th cap for Ireland!

Available in a variety of options (each limited to 250 prints) to ensure there's something perfect for every home and budget.

The print itself is presented on 16x22" stretcher bars in a 3cm, white wooden frame giving a total size of 46 x 61cm (approx).

For international customers (outside of Europe) the canvas print is available rolled in a tube for cost effective postage.  The canvas will need to be stretched over 16x22" bars (not provided) by a professional framer prior to hanging.
